About us

Curious About Shells was created because of our own children's curiosity about the shells we found on our trip around Australia. Our family loved looking for different shells and were always curious to learn about each shell and the animal that once lived inside.

This book, Curious About Shells, if full of fun facts about shells and activities including a shell identification checklist. The book is wipeable so you can check off shells at very beach you go to!

We created the shell cleaning and restoration kit to help our kids clean and restore some beautiful shells that needed some extra love, the kit will help clean off any build up or debris and get the shells looking nice and shiny once again.

A fun activity for the kids to do while on holiday, or as part of a home learning program.

We are a family of 5 who are travelling around Australia full time. stopping here and there for work. We love exploring the areas we stop in and have found some stunning places we wouldn't have otherwise found! We love finding beach treasures, especially shells. My (Dimiti) favourite shell is a cowrie, and I absolutely love when I come across them while beach combing.

We love the northern part of Australia, especially Broome and Exmouth regions. My (Dimiti's) favourite beach is 80 Mile which is between Broome and Port Headland.
